THE END.
Please let it be true!
so i was fooled by the witnesses.
what can i learn from that?
not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.
THE END.
Please let it be true!
today i added a new article to my blog.
it includes a not-yogi berra quote in memory of a beloved man.
oh, and it includes a two image depiction of how watchtower has but hasn't changed.
I don't know if that is your stick-man ish cartoon Marvin, I guess it is ...it's bl@@dy hilarious !!
It's an original of my own concoction. One of the funniest parts (to me) is the clock and ice cream for lunch detail. But all of it was inspired by true events, including the tedious bowtie wearing member with the outstretched arm!
i took the most recent video on "obey" and edited it down to its core.
here tony explains that the decisions of the faithful slave are arrived at "collectively" but are not a "collection" of man made decisions.
it would be comical if it weren't so sad.. tony video.

another great article by trey.
hope it gets a lot of publicity!
I don't know how anyone with decent knowledge of Watchtower's inner workings could possibly believe Mr. Toole's testimony claiming ignorance of Watchtower's theocratic war strategy doctrine! The man worked for Watchtower's Service Department for nearly 10 years in a high capacity and during that very period Watchtower admits in written correspondence that the doctrine was then not only valid but currently practiced!!! Of course, the same letter exclaimed that Watchtower did not want this particular doctrine to become a subject of general discussion among "the brothers".

ive seen jw parents shun their disfellowshipped children for 20-30 years.
ive seen parents remove disfellowshipped or fader children from wills and give the inheritance to the watchtower..
if your country got run over by some form of government like the nazi regime and started a process of eliminating any groups or individuals who it considered a threat.
it's been years since i've prayed and the last one i prayed to was the god known as jehovah.
just wondering.
Recently I saw a cartoon of a little boy riding a bicycle. The little boy exclaimed, "I thought about asking in prayer for a bicycle but realized God didn't work that way. So I stole this one and asked God for forgiveness, in prayer of course."
Like so much else, knowing how the system works is often the ticket to getting there.
please, who can provide an intelligent rebuttal to the following illustration?
i always thought it was bullet-proof:.
"if your doctor directs you to 'abstain from alcohol' would you be ok to have it injected into your veins rather than drink it?
If your doctor directs you to 'abstain from alcohol' would you be OK to have it injected into your veins rather than drink it?
If a religious doctrine would have us abstain from transfusion of fresh frozen plasma would it be OK to let cryosupernatant and cryoprecipitate be injected into our veins?

Actually, the blood/alcohol analogy is correct as far as consuming any substance by needle or by mouth.
That's just plain ole stupid.
Here's a substance: potable water
If you drink potable water it hydrates your tissue, which is a good thing. If you transfuse potable water it kills you, which is a bad thing.
Here's another substance: alcohol
Doctors who've advised a patient to abstain from alcohol do not abstaining from transfusing alcohol to the same patient if the administration protects the patient from death.

Yes. It would.
A doctor tells a patient to abstain from alcohol if the patient's use of alcohol is bad for his health. But if the same patient shows up at an emergency room with ethyl glycol poisoning he'll likely have alcohol administered to counteract the deadly effect. In each case (i.e., abstention and administration) the reason is the same: best interest of the patient.
